What a load of rubbish. 

Robert Downey Jr. hams it up in a Jack Sparrow-style depiction of Sherlock Holmes, and Guy Ritchie macerates elements of Fight Club, The Bourne Identity, and Batman Begins in his tiresome directorial style. 

When this came out in 2009, I suspected it was dogshit and I never saw it, but somehow this thing made over $500 million globally. But it’s bollocks I say, pure bollocks.
